I've been sad and alone ever since I was a child
I never knew happiness
Living alone on the streets, hungry every day
I have no real family, so I search the city for a false one.
I beg on the corner to feed myself
When people gave me hand outs, it makes things better for awhile.
When I don't beg, or people don't give,
Then glue is my only meal
But breathing glue only made me weak
It made me too sick to survive
Now I've left that behind, and chosen school instead
Children of the streets, sniffing your lives away
