In journalism, business and the nonprofit sector, cutting-edge approaches to multimedia have revolutionized the way we tell stories, sell products and communicate our messages.
This workshop, led by founders of the Common Language Project, an award-winning multimedia production house based at the UW, will explore the techniques and technologies used to develop some of the highest-value narrative multimedia on the web today.
We'll share our own approach to the multimedia production process, from reporting and gathering media to editing and web distribution, and analyze the work of global leaders in this field; and discuss the transition to a new era of media designed specifically for the web.
The workshop is free and open exclusively to MCDM students.
